We Just finished a unit and had a test last week.  Today we start Chapter 13. This is about World War 2.  One of their assignments will be to interview a veteran from the war, so if you know anyone who could help us please let me know.

This week they will have section work to do each day

Grammar packets due MONDAY. Oral book report presentations begin 3/22

EAP test is on 3/17 Followed by Benchmark 2 for HS on 3/19

We have been focusing on essay writing in class. they should be bringing some of these home to work on

8th grade students have a grammar test on Friday . Chapter 9.

All students should be reading their books and preparing for Oral Book Reports. These begin 3/22/10 and will last all week.  There will be benchmark test #3 this month as well.  We are Busy!

Students are also writing an autobiography and should be asking you for interviews about their early years.  This is a long term project that I plan to have completed by the beginning of May, I will keep you informed of approaching due dates.

Grammar packet this week is: Chapter 9, review all of the questions.
